Session & Sponsor Chat File Sharing

Oftentimes, the best way to communicate an idea is to accompany it with an image, emoji, or another form of media. For sessions or sponsor booths with a live chat enabled, you have the ability to send files (including but not limited to .doc, .pdf, .png, .mp4, .m4a, .xls, and .ppt) as well as create and instantly send photos, record audio and record video directly from the chatbox itself.

 

Accessing the attachments menu

1. On the lower right corner of the Live Chat window, select the paperclip icon to bring up the options menu.

2. From within the options menu, select either Add fileTake photoRecord audio, or Record video.

Attach a file

Take a photo

Record Audio

2. Select Allow if prompted for microphone permission from your browser. https://hubbhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/4407784509971/recordaudio1.png
3. Select Record audio to start an audio recording. You will have a maximum of 30 seconds to record. https://hubbhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/4407784526099/recordaudio2.png
4. Select Stop when you are finished recording. When you reach the 30-second mark, the recording will be stopped automatically. https://hubbhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/4407784571411/recordaudio3.png

Record video
